1. About NBJB and agreement

Not Broken Just Burning provides educational articles, stories, guided reflection exercises, learning tracks, and related digital tools. By using the site, you agree to these terms when they have been published. If you purchase a subscription, the price, billing interval, and material terms displayed at checkout also apply.

2. What is available now versus planned

NBJB is an evolving educational platform. A Flamewalker+ subscription provides access to the standard digital lessons, exercises, and member resources specifically listed as available at the time of purchase, as well as additional standard digital member content when it is published during an active subscription. Future videos, books, events, community features, and planned curriculum are not guaranteed by a specific date, quantity, or cadence.

Each lesson or feature marked “Coming Soon,” “In Development,” or “Editorial Review” is not currently available. Separately ticketed live events, physical merchandise, and individually priced products may require a separate purchase.

3. Educational scope

NBJB provides general educational and personal-development resources informed by lived experience. It does not provide psychotherapy, psychiatric or medical treatment, professional diagnosis, legal representation, individualized financial advice, or emergency/crisis response. Using the website does not establish a professional-client relationship. Seek appropriate qualified support when needed. For urgent situations, see Support & Safety.

4. Accounts and account security

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your account credentials secure, and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access. Each subscription is intended for the subscribing account; do not resell, share access credentials widely, or attempt to bypass paid-entitlement checks. We may suspend access for fraud, misuse, serious security risks, or violations of these terms, subject to applicable law.

5. Subscription prices, renewals and cancellation

Flamewalker free accounts do not require payment. The planned launch prices for Flamewalker+ are $14.99 USD per month or $149 USD per year (excluding applicable taxes, if any). If offered and selected, paid subscriptions renew automatically at the chosen interval until canceled. The checkout screen confirms the amount and billing cycle before purchase. Future price changes for existing subscribers will be communicated as required by law before taking effect.

You can cancel recurring renewal using the membership's Manage Billing option (Stripe Customer Portal) when activated, or contact support by email. Self-service cancellation stops future automatic renewal without a penalty, phone call, or requirement to explain. Paid access ordinarily continues through the paid-through period unless you receive a refund, in which case paid access may end earlier. You do not need to delete your free account to cancel a paid subscription.

6. Refunds and billing questions

Flamewalker+ is not for everyone, and members should not feel trapped. The proposed founding policy allows a full first-payment refund request within 14 days for monthly and 30 days for annual subscriptions, plus an ordinarily honored refund of an unintended renewal requested within 7 days of that charge. Refund approval also cancels future renewals and may end paid access; canceling renewal by itself does not automatically refund past charges.

You may cancel recurring billing yourself through the Stripe Customer Portal without a phone call or giving a reason. Contact notbrokenjustburning@gmail.com about refunds, duplicates, payment errors, or unfamiliar invoices. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

7. Privacy, local reflection data, and payments

See Privacy & Data Use for how site analytics and account information are handled. Private reflection answers are designed to remain device-local unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise; account sign-in alone does not upload your personal journals. Stripe processes payment information under its own policies; NBJB does not need to receive your full card number to grant membership. Shared devices and browser storage have privacy limits.

8. Intellectual property and acceptable use

NBJB retains rights in its original site materials, visual branding, lessons, and educational tools except where otherwise stated. An active membership gives you a limited, personal, nonexclusive right to use included digital content for your own learning. You may save or copy your own exercise responses. Do not redistribute full paid lessons, sell access, remove attribution from protected works, scrape the service at scale, or use it unlawfully.

9. Service changes and interruptions

The library may grow and tools may change as the platform develops. NBJB does not promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted or available on every device. Material changes to paid offerings will be communicated reasonably and any rights required by applicable consumer law remain in place. If a substantial paid feature is unavailable for an extended period, contact support about an appropriate remedy.

10. User responsibility and limitations

People should make their own decisions based on their circumstances and obtain qualified professional help when appropriate. To the extent permitted by applicable law, NBJB is not responsible for outcomes from applying general educational material, third-party links, or a user's decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

11. Changes and contact

The current published version will apply from its stated effective date. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice as required by law.
