Support & Safety

A reflection tool is not
an emergency service.

NBJB can help organize thoughts, identify next steps, and create language for reflection. It cannot monitor your safety, contact emergency services for you, diagnose conditions, or replace trained crisis, medical, mental-health, legal, or domestic-violence support.

Use local emergency and crisis resources.

Emergency numbers and crisis systems differ by country. If there is immediate danger, contact your local emergency service. For non-immediate support, use a reputable local crisis, medical, mental-health, or domestic-violence service.

What NBJB can do

Reflection, language, and next steps.

Use NBJB for

  • organizing a difficult thought
  • separating observation from inference
  • building a boundary around actions you control
  • breaking overwhelm into a smaller next action
  • reflecting on shame, identity, voice, and connection

Do not rely on NBJB for

  • crisis intervention
  • diagnosis or treatment
  • proof of abuse, motive, intent, or legal wrongdoing
  • emergency safety planning by itself
  • medical or legal decisions requiring a qualified professional

Use the right tool for the job

Reflection can wait when safety cannot.

If the situation is urgent, choose real-world support first. The Forge will still be here later. Human nervous systems, charmingly, do not care about our content roadmap.

U.S. crisis and domestic-violence contact information last verified against the official services on September 15, 2026.
